Enrichment: Afternoon programs for ages 2 – Pre-K: Building Better Minds, Bodies, and Futures with STEM, Arts, and Wellness

Our enrichment programs, open to children in 2’s and pre-K, are designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a sense of purpose in young learners while nurturing their growth in a joyful, engaging environment. Each program explores unique pathways to building a better world and STEM skills —whether through fostering creativity in Better Minds (Art), encouraging curiosity and problem-solving in Better Discoveries (Science), or inspiring environmental stewardship in Better Environment (Recycling). From hands-on STEM exploration in Better Communities (Construction) to healthy habits in Better Health (Cooking) and mindfulness in Better Self (Yoga), these programs offer children meaningful opportunities to grow, learn, and contribute in ways that are both fun and impactful.

Enrichment

Better Minds: Art

Creativity has been cited by the World Economic Forum as the #2 most important skill for societal health. In this class the creative side of each child is developed and celebrated as they paint, sculpt, build, draw, and make collages using a variety of media.

Enrichment

Better Health: Cooking

Children play with their food as they make thematic creations linked to stories, seasons, holidays, science, and build an understanding of healthy eating.

Enrichment

 Better Discoveries: Science

Children engage in hands-on science experiments that spark curiosity and creativity, from chiseling away at fossils to creating erupting volcanoes. Through these activities, they explore the properties of different substances, discover how elements interact, and begin to understand the role of science. This program inspires young learners to see science as a tool for positive impact and problem-solving in their communities and beyond.

Enrichment

Better Communities: Construction

Children love to build, and in this program they will use many different materials to explore and discover STEM concepts while learning how to build better communities.

Better Environment: Recycling

Children learn how small actions can make a big difference through fun, hands-on recycling activities. Through sorting, repurposing, and creative crafts, we inspire young learners to care for the environment.

Enrichment

Better Self: Yoga

Children practice mindfulness and calming techniques while developing flexibility, strength, and coordination. This is an interactive class where children learn and practice basic yoga poses. Activities are related to interpreting and acting out favorite stories, themes and holiday events.
